Automatic
Auto is the default. The app decides whether it is looking at a code or at text, and if text, whether the layout reads like a card or like a page — then opens the matching result. When you already know, tap a chip to lock it to Wi-Fi, card or document.
Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi QR codes, yes — but also the plain printed "network / password" label behind the counter. Snapuno turns either into a connect button. Characters you cannot tell apart in print, like capital O and zero, swap with a single tap.
Business cards
Name, department and title, mobile, landline, fax, email and address are each recognised and filed into their own field. Cards printed sideways or lying upside down get rotated and read again. One tap writes it to your phone book.
Documents
A clause in a contract, a notice on a door, a page of a handout — all of it comes back as text. Copy it into another app, share it, or have it read aloud with the current sentence highlighted and the speed under your thumb.
Travel
A recogniser tuned for Korean makes a mess of a Japanese notice board. So you set the destination first. Pick a country in settings and that writing system takes priority; leave it alone and the app follows your phone language.

History
Everything you recognise stacks up by date with a badge for its kind — card, Wi-Fi, document. A crop of the original shot and the character count sit next to each row, so scanning the list tells you what each one was. Turn auto-save off if you would rather it did not.
On-device by default
Finding the text and reading it is done entirely by the recognition engine bundled in the app. The captured image, the recognised text, the phone number on that business card — none of it reaches us. There is no account to create.
Snapuno Pro
Nothing is locked behind the paywall. The free version recognises, copies, saves and reads aloud without limits. Pro removes the ads that sit between you and the next scan. Billing and cancellation happen in the App Store or Google Play.

Text and code recognition run entirely on the device, so they work in airplane mode. Ads in the free version and opening a link from a QR code do need the network.
No. Captured images and their results are written to device storage and stay there. We do not receive them. The Privacy Policy spells this out in detail.
Korean, Japanese, Chinese in both simplified and traditional forms, and Latin scripts including English. Setting a destination in the app makes that script the priority.
Edit it right there on the result screen. For the characters print cannot distinguish — zero and capital O, one and lowercase L — tap a fix chip to swap every occurrence at once.
It is not. Depending on the print and the layout, fields can blend or drop, which is why the raw text is shown next to the parsed result. Correct it before you save.
The ads go away. The features themselves are already unlimited in the free version. Billing runs through the App Store or Google Play and you cancel there.
